We access contact data (like names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc.) solely for the purpose of performing the actions you initiate within the App (e.g., generating a QR code, creating a shareable file, or exporting to Excel). Your contact data is processed locally on your device and is NOT uploaded to our servers.

b) Information Collected Automatically:

  • Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the App. This includes features used, time spent in the App, and crash reports. This data is collected primarily through third-party services like Firebase Analytics and helps us understand usage patterns and improve the App. This data is typically aggregated and anonymized or pseudonymized.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, such as the device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. This helps us with troubleshooting and optimizing the App for different devices.
  • Advertising Data: If the App includes advertising (e.g., via Google AdMob), these services may collect information to provide personalized ads. This may include advertising identifiers (like IDFA or Google Advertising ID), IP address, and interaction data with ads. You may be able to control personalized advertising through your device settings.

  • To Provide and Maintain the App: To enable the core features of contact transfer, sharing, and exporting as initiated by you.

  • To Display Advertisements: To support the App’s development through advertising, potentially personalized based on collected data (subject to your consent where required).
  • To Manage Subscriptions: If applicable, to manage free trials, subscriptions, and access to premium features via services like SuperwallKit.
  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: To meet legal requirements and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as analytics (Firebase Analytics), advertising (Google AdMob), and subscription management (SuperwallKit). These providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect your information.
  • As Directed by You: When you use features like sharing contacts via standard OS sharing mechanisms or exporting contacts to a file format like Excel, the data is shared or saved according to your actions.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
  • In Case of Business Transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Important Note: Your raw contact data accessed from your device’s address book is processed locally for the functions you initiate and is not shared with third-party advertisers or analytics providers in its raw, identifiable form by us.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain information collected for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Contact data is generally processed ephemerally for the duration of the transfer/export operation you initiate and is not persistently stored by the App itself. Data collected by third-party services is subject to their respective retention policies.

  • Contact Access: You can grant or revoke access to your contacts at any time through your device’s settings. If you revoke access, the core functionality of the App will be limited.
  • Advertising: You can often limit ad tracking using settings provided by your device operating system (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS).
  • Analytics: You may be able to opt-out of analytics collection through App settings if provided, or via settings offered by the analytics providers.
  • Access and Deletion: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we primarily process data locally or rely on third parties, please contact us for inquiries, and we will assist you or direct you to the appropriate party.
